Today was such a disconnected from work day and so I doodled my favorite subject CSZ. The only goal of this pic was to use colors to make shadows with all sorts versus just my typical black/blue/gray.

I had fun with it! It also made my brain clue in a different pose for another pic I'm working on for Amedia! I was struggling with placement of CSZ and GCC, but I think this new idea will work better!

I have revisited this piece so many times. Sob sob sob. But I’ll say I feel like I’m getting there. Lolol. This is from the original doodle of CSZ sexily sitting in chair but now thanks to the pose archives for a great reference pose he and GCC are now sitting sexily on floor. Lolololol. Behind cut. It’s def implied sexy cause everyone all dressed just leading up to kissing.

I AM A TWIN (I am the younger twin LOL)! So I had to fulfill this TWIN PROMPT.

Anyway, here is some art fo the Guardian Bingo Bonus prompt Twins. Poor Chu Shuzhi is missing his TWIN BROTHER. Hopefully tomorrow I can finish Shen Wei and Ye Zun.

I am not always immune to memes and there's the Barbie movie meme going around where it shows Barbie and Ken with their mugshots and here here I had to do one for CHuGuo. Pls ignore the very sad impressionest-y hands. I didn't feel like looking up references for them so they are just smudgey hands. But I had so much fun with this. AHahahahahaha. I really wanna do the whole team. So like Da Qing and Zhu Hong, Lin Jing and WZ/SZ (how they were able to get into the same mugshot who's to say) and of course, Weilan, but we'll see if I get to them :D

Here is a WIP I probably won't finish more beyond this because my brain doesn't wanna finish anything!

But here is an YOHE version of Chu Shuzhi, which is based on Yilian's drawings she did for me last year (or was it the year before? OMG! TIME! FLYING!)

I can't seem to get this into how my brain sees it, but I figured I'd post it because I show my success and fails with my art and drawings :)

Either way here is a shirtless Lao Chu and while another layer has Changcheng on it, I don't like his pose at all so all you get is Chu Shuzhi XD XD XD

I also have another layer where I colored it but I was really not feeling the colored version. I'm pretty sure it's just my brain and if I leave it alone for a bit I'll come back and be like: OH i like this let me finish it. LOLOLOLOL.

I have so many WIPS, both fic and art related and nothing is holding my attention right now. I am like a bee flitting from flower to flower and not staying long on any of them.

Anyway here is an art wip. Chu Shuzhi as the Tarot Card Strength.

Updated: 02/07/2023 with all three versions of this artwork. Initial sketch, midpoint with fixing proportions and finished piece :) I really like how this one came out.

I have created some guardian art! Some Weilan and Chu Shuzhi. I've been trying to figure out my color style so these are all in color versus my typical black and white sketchy style :)

A story idea that I will probably turn into a story, or more of a comic, but this will be revisited. The idea is that GCC and CSZ were somehow turned into cats and the SID is all: Who kidnapped Xiao Guo and Lao Chu! And they're just living their best cat life, with CSZ making sure to bring fish to GCC XD

And the final version of the ChuGuo pic :D I changed GCC's head tilt (and fixed the sizing but now I feel like his head is too big?!?!), but either way I'm still happy with it.

I do have both versions in case my brain decides not to like this one at a later date XD That's the one good thing about digital art that you can save multiple versions. I'm really happy I decided to dip my toe into actually trying to become better with digital art XD

Either way, slowly I've been trying to expand my art skills with procreate and I feel like I'm actually getting somewhere lately.

Here is a work in progress for Chu Shuzhi pic, reference photo included. I really love how you can have reference photo just sitting there side by side in procreate. It makes figuring out proportions and lightning easier. What's really also nice is you can make a new palette in procreate with all the colors in the picture. Either way WIP behind the cut which will eventually be posted to twitter.
