Also, one day I will figure out all of dreamwidth stuff out lolol.
Maybe when I'm 50, which is not that far away LOLOL. XD XD XD
Either way, slowly I've been trying to expand my art skills with procreate and I feel like I'm actually getting somewhere lately.
Here is a work in progress for Chu Shuzhi pic, reference photo included. I really love how you can have reference photo just sitting there side by side in procreate. It makes figuring out proportions and lightning easier. What's really also nice is you can make a new palette in procreate with all the colors in the picture. Either way WIP behind the cut which will eventually be posted to twitter.
I'm not the type of artist who often goes without a reference, even though I try, oh how I try, but while I don't go for photo realistic, I try to capture what makes up the character. Am I always successful nah, but I will say I feel really successful with this one! This still has a long way to go to be completed (ears are the devil) but I'm getting there. PS: Yes, I flipped the picture because I find when something points to the left my brain draws it better XD XD XD
