I feel like CSZ's mood comes across in both of them through his closed eyes and eloquently bowed head, but in the second one it's kind of externalised a little bit too, in the shading/lighting, as if his feelings are spilling out of him. Like, it kind of makes the art be from his POV, if that makes sense? *pets him so much* - Ahhh this makes me feel so happy that you see both pieces like this :D And I agree the second one gives a more Chu Shuzhi POV feels.
