I feel like CSZ's mood comes across in both of them through his closed eyes and eloquently bowed head, but in the second one it's kind of externalised a little bit too, in the shading/lighting, as if his feelings are spilling out of him. Like, it kind of makes the art be from his POV, if that makes sense? *pets him so much*

(I'm actually aphantasic, which means I can't picture things in my head, so fanart is magic, especially when it's so good like this, because it lets me literally see stuff that I otherwise would never be able to.
