Is Xiao Guo leaping from a balcony to escape a dark energy dragon monster???? - YES! I just have that layer hidden because it's legit a stick figure right now XD My brain had it all like: GCC stuck on roof, dark energy monster like: Yes let us eat this delicious cinnamon roll, CSZ is all: WTF get down here now!, and it all culminates into him jumping and CSZ catching him XD
And then the picture at the bottom, the look on Chu-ge's face, like, "I will always take care of you, Changcheng" while Changcheng is still overcome! I'm wondering if Changcheng put his hands over his face before he jumped--you know how people say "don't look down"! Or is he doing that now that he's safe, and it's an expression of relief or even just being overcome. SO MUCH EMOTION HERE. - I definitely intended his hands over his face as a sort of: I can't look while I fall sort of gesture! So definitely lots of emotion because OMG could you imagine jumping and knowing someone has to catch you? Not that Chu-ge would ever drop him LOL. I too like the purple!
I can definitely see it now in the way you said he's overcome with emotion too! So I like both HCs for however people see it XD
I hope soon I can return to this WIP cause I"d like to spiffy it up more and finish the other panels too! :D
