I think I may have honed in on my digital coloring style.  I"ve been trying to figure out a way to make things look like watercolor, because I love watercolor, and I think I achieved it finally.

Here is a sample of Hei Pao Shi in my watercolor style.   I feel like I struggle with the colors getting a little muddy, but I'm going to keep practicing.  Now I want to re-do all my old art with style of color :D :D :D :D :D

For reference this picture took my eight hours to paint (in small chunks of course) because I started and stopped so many times and then just made a mess and then erased until I felt more at ease with how the colors meshed.

Oh, wow, that's amazing! I love how atmospheric it is, and the contrast between his face being in focus, and everything else being more impressionistic. SO COOL!!!! :D

Ahhhh thank you for the lovely comment!! I love watercolors so much and the brushes I have for procreate react so much like water color I’m finding it easier to actually layer colors effectively!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is such a striking picture, the way Hei Pao Shi is appearing from the mist. I can almost hear the thunder! And I can’t stop looking at his eyes, so piercing behind the mask!!!

Ahhh thank you thank you! :D I do like how he seems to be appearing as well. It's very ghostly feeling :D

And yes, his eyes I think are so emotive! :D I always want to try and capture the emotion he expresses with his eyes so much :D
